A SATISFIED VISITOR

It was very pleasing to receive an email from John Wisbech yesterday. He is a groundhopper and visited Top Field on Saturday for the first time for many years.

It seems he was impressed by his match day experience and I thought it worth sharing with everyone as it is not often we get such praise. This was his email—

I really enjoyed my trip to Hitchin yesterday. The game was good and I was pleased you got a deserved point.

The stewards were helpful and they arranged for me get a ticket as I wasn’t aware of the online entry. The club shop was brilliant and being retired and a lover of reading new programmes, I found myself in heaven and spent £40.

The club is a credit to everyone from the stewards to the bar staff, the club shop and the players.

I also enjoyed the very impressive match day programme and I guarantee I will be back next season.
