ARSENAL U18 THIS SATURDAY

Unfortunately we have had to cancel the open day that was due to take place at Top Field this Saturday, but it is for the best possible reason. We took a phone call from Arsenal on Thursday afternoon asking us to play their Under 18 side at Top Field on Saturday with an 11am kick-off as they had been let down with their original fixture. Manager Mark Burke could only really give one answer so we are now hosting the future stars of the Premier League giants.

Emile Smith-Rowe was in the side when we previously hosted the Arsenal youngsters and he has gone on to establish himself in the first team. It will be interesting to see the next generation of Arsenal stars on Saturday.

We will be charging for this game and all the gate receipts will be spent on the further ground improvements that we still need to complete. We have now exhausted our Crowdfunder funds and completed all the major works we wanted to achieve but there remain other jobs on our wish list.

Tickets will go on sale shortly through our website with the following prices: Adults £10, Concessions £6, Teenagers £2 and Accompanied Children £1. This match is all-ticket – with no cash turnstiles.

If you were planning to visit Top Field just to collect your new commemorative away shirt and don’t wish to watch the match, the shirts will still be available from Stewart at the turnstiles.
