The Canaries went down 2-3 against National League South high-flyers Hemel Hempstead Town in this evening’s friendly match at Vauxhall Road.
The home side raced into a 0-2 lead at the break, after ex-Luton striker Alex Wall grabbed the opener. Joe Gauge made it 1-2 just after the break, before Hemel restored their two-goal lead.
James Verney then grabbed a consolatory strike with minutes remaining to end the match 2-3.
It proved a useful runout for all involved and allowed Mark Burke to get extra minutes into those lads new to the Club, as well as those returning from injury.
