Since the end of the Season Brett has been shaping the playing squad to ensure we are ready to compete and can quickly return to Step 3. We are now in a position to confirm details of the players that have been retained or released.

Loan Players

The following players have returned to their parent clubs following the expiration of their loan agreements:

  • Ollie Lynch (Luton Town FC)
  • Jack Bateson (Luton Town FC)
  • Joel Anker (MK Dons FC)

Leaving Players

Finley Wilkinson has decided not to accept an extension of his Contract and will look to progress his football elsewhere.

Alex Kpakpe has decided to leave the club and will be pursuing football elsewhere at a higher level.

Released Players

The following players have been released:

  • Matty Campbell
  • Layne Eadie

Retained Players

The following players have been retained:

  • Stephen Gleeson
  • Lewis Barker
  • George Devine
  • Connor Vincent
  • Toby Syme
  • Shane Bush

Discussions remain ongoing with Jack Snelus, Diogo Freitas-Gouveia, Kavan Cotter and Ciaren Jones and we will provide an update after these have been concluded.

Since he joined in March Brett has been targeting a number of new players to join the squad, some of these have now been secured and discussions have been progressing well with many more. We will release further details of the new additions to the squad as we head towards pre-season.
