The Canaries’ fixture tonight (12 April) against Hereford FC was unfortunately called off following a pitch inspection this morning. The date was only agreed by both club’s after Monday’s postponement.
The cautious optimism in yesterday’s update – following two days of mostly dry weather – was washed away this morning in an early downpour which left the pitch unplayable.
This is frustrating for players and fans of both clubs, and we apologise for the disruption to everyone’s plans. It is and also frustrating to our volunteer groundstaff who have spent so much of their time trying to get the pitch to a playable condition only to be thwarted by the elements.
We will let you all know as soon as the new date is agreed.
