HTFC join pledge to stop homophobia

Mark Burke and Hitchin Town Ladies FC manager Callum Ellis attended the Hertfordshire Constabulary and Herts FA Homophobia in Football Survey Results Launch at Watford FC on Monday. Callum featured on the Anglia TV news that evening being interviewed by one its reporters.

Hitchin Town FC manager Mark Burke said, “Football should be inclusive and as a club we want to be open and accessible to the whole community. Events like these are important for tackling issues and we will be looking to work in collaboration with the police and Hertfordshire FA to raise awareness of hate crime and how it can be reported. Hitchin Town FC is now looking forward to becoming a third party reporting centre.“
