We’re delighted to confirm the signing of central defender Joe Gauge.
19-year-old Joe was an ever-present for Biggleswade United last season, ending the season with a treasure-chest of awards: Players’ Player of the Year, Young Player of the Year and Player of the Year.
Having impressed in the two pre-season friendlies against Stevenage and Wealdstone, Manager Mark Burke was quick to snap up his services for the coming season.
On the signing, Mark said:
“Joe is a very talented young lad who performed very well each time we watched him at Biggleswade United last season. Having three solid central defenders was a key aim for me this summer, as competition in this key position is vital. I’m delighted to welcome him to the Club and look forward to seeing him progress even further throughout the year.”
