The FA have today confirmed the step 1-6 non league divisional allocations ahead of the 2019-20 season.

This sees the Canaries remain in the Southern League Premier Central Division, to be joined by five new Clubs:

  • Bromsgrove Sporting
Won promotion from the Southern League Central Division One. Hitchin have never faced Bromsgrove Sporting. The Club were formed in 2010.
  • Hednesford Town
Switched from the Northern Premier Division. We’ve played Hednesford twice in our history, home and away in the 2004-05 season, winning on both occasions.
  • Kings Langley
Switched from the Southern League Premier South Division. We’ve played Langley six times in our history, winning every time, most recently a 2-1 away win in April 2018.
  • Nuneaton Borough
Relegated from the National League North. The Canaries have never faced Nuneaton Borough.
  • Peterborough Sports
Promoted from the Southern League Central Division One. We’ve played ‘Sports’ twice in our history, in the Emirates FA Cup back in 2015-16, drawing 1-1 away before progressing via a 4-2 home win in the replay.

Bring on the new season.
