Manager’s Notes
With the games against Dorchester and Didcot being postponed it was very frustrating as we wanted to build on the performance at Chesham. However you cannot beat the weather so we have had some good training sessions instead.
DUNSTABLE
I have to give credit to Dunstable this season for battling for survival despite having a zero financial budget. Before the season started most pundits predicted certain relegation because their players were not being paid so to still be in with a chance of staying up is an outstanding achievement.
I will certainly expect Dunstable to be really competitive on Saturday.
STRATFORD
Stratford will be a tough test as they have a good home record. We have yet to win at Stratford so we will be looking to rectify that statistic.
There are four games before the cup final so the squad have plenty to play for with places up for grabs.
NEW SIGNINGS
You will have seen in Roy’s bulletin that we have signed two more players. I am delighted to have re-signed Matthew Spring on a dual registration with Hemel Hempstead as he will add vast experience to our young squad while Josh Mollison has been performing well for the Academy side and will provide additional goalkeeping cover for the rest of the season.
