NEWS FROM HITCHIN TOWN YOUTH
The newest generation of young local talent turned out the other week as Hitchin Town Youth FC (HTYFC) recently continued its tradition of having a kit presentation for its most recent recruits.
The kit presentation day is an opportunity to make the introduction to the Hitchin Town football family memorable for its fledgling players. For the 2022/23 season, HTYFC welcomed 36 new players from 4 teams – U7s Dragons, U7s Casuals, U7s Corinthians and U8s Panthers.
On hand to present them their kit was Mark Burke himself, supported by Geoff Pollard (HTYFC Vice-chair) and Tara Mullaney (HTYFC CWO).
Each new player also received a letter from Mark and Hitchin Town tote bag, which will come in handy on match days and a promise of a First Team picture and fixture schedule. Printing courtesy of Printmill Luton, to who we are very grateful.
According to the U8s Panthers manager, Ade Olabode
“It was great to see the smiles of the little ones running around in their yellow and green strip, which perfectly captures their excitement of joining HTYFC.”
Good luck to all the new players in their very first season.
