Brett's EoS blog

 big clap for Brett's end of season blog, really lifted the spirits, haven't laughed out load for ages, well done Brett, but I think it could mean more work for you as I am sure you are now going to have to write a book about your life in football  it would be brilliant, i know I wou...

Sorry might be a bit of misunderstanding. The novelty name is for when you enter your prediction next season.

I like the names so far, just remember them when you come to enter the prediction game.

Yes, well done Steve really appreciate the work you put in organizing this every season. And just as gutted as RST as I was very confident that my final predictions were all absolutely 100% correct, so "I woz robbed" I recon :doah: :-D ! My entry for the novelty name is :- The High Flying Canaries !...

Re: Founding Fathers (2)

Brilliant stuff again Anthony  , fascinating reading. Would love to know more about the "Hare & Hounds" cross country race, obviously an annual event around Hitchin, wonder what its origins were and when and why it was no longer held? I guess the war may have had something to do with it. R...

Re: Hitchin FC: Founding Fathers (1)

👍Fascinating stuff Anthony, so many familiar Hitchin names from the past, I guess the date of Forest becoming Wanderers is a typo 😊

Re: All games off for the next 2 weeks at least

With the FA announcing that all football is now postponed until at least 30th April, I think your suggestion is looking quite an attractive option Andy

Re: History Today

Just coming up to my 1st birthday when this was played :baby: , we certainly used to "bang 'em in" back in the day. Going off at a slight tangent Anthony, I was watching a news reel clip during a tribute to Harry Gregg yesterday and in one clip he caught the ball quite cleanly and was then unceremon...

Re: League Tables

Have you deleted your memory cache, temporary files, stuff like that (he says hoping not to be asked how to do all that!)? Many thanks again RST   , after a bit of looking here and looking there on my menus, finally located the "delete all memory cache, cookies and temporary files etc." ...
