TORIN
Fingers crossed for our latest young signing Torin who impressed me back in 2022 when in our Youth Cup team. A visiting scout thought he was half decent too, as witness Chris' comments on the forum back then: "As he was leaving, the Chelsea Scout said to me "Good stuff, your 9 and 10 are u...

Re: Victoria Kevans - The Victoria
I can't add much to the previous postings other than to acknowledge and express my appreciation for the support that Vic provided to the Football Club over the last decade and more, just as her mother had done before her. The fact that over many seasons, the Vic has widely been chosen as the "l...

FLYING VISIT TO TOP FIELD
On Saturday at Top Field we were honoured with a surprise visit from Santa Claus. Before he gets really busy today, he had agreed to stand in for Matchball Sponsors Deirdre and Mike Godfrey who, sadly are presently isolating with covid. As well as selecting Arnie as Man of the Match he did a grand j...

Re: Geoff Thomason
Geoff Thomason, to me at least, was a classic example of that breed of supporter upon whom this Club of ours has relied for the last twenty years. Intensely loyal and always prepared to help out where assistance was required – generally manifested by virtue of the countless hours that he spent at th...

Re: easyfundraising
A timely reminder that buying your Christmas gifts online this year can be good news for the Canaries if you go via the easyfundraising site. Your outlay will be the same, but the retailer will donate a percentage of your payment to your nominated good cause. Details are here: https://hitchintownfc....

COALVILLE PROGRAMME
For those of you reading the Forum who also buy a Matchday Programme, I wanted to apologise if you felt deprived of your recent weekly dose of "Pipeman" and his tales of derring-do, usually featuring either a Victorian author or a tandem, but invariably intriguing. If you read it this week...

DAVID KIRBY
It is with sadness that I report the recent death of David Kirby, a familiar face around the club for a great many years. David died on Sunday 6th August. He had been ill for some while and his conditioned worsened after a fall resulting in a broken hip. In recent years David was a frequent sighting...

Re: easyfundraising

Alvechurch is first up and it would be great to have the opening game filled. For individuals it is £70, corporates pay a little bit more (...
