Re: HERTS CHARITY CUP FINAL - REVISED DATE

This is excellent news. A huge thank you from this Spurs and HTFC fan to everyone involved in this decision.

Re: Herts Charity Cup

As a Spurs and HTFC fan, frustrating date given the clash with the CL SF first leg. In line with the approach taken by a former and now thankfully banned contributor, I’m sending my apologies.

Opportunity Taken

Brilliant from the club tonight. Profile was perfect and accurate. Well done to all those who put so much hard work in to achieve this, the same volunteers who keep the whole thing going week to week and season to season. Ignore the nonsense about club blazers and ties (its 2018!) and broken signs f...

Snots v Rushall Olympic

This was a really poor game with Rushall just about deserving the 3 points. The ball spent large parts of the match in the air and neither team could string more than 3 passes together. For Snots Olaniran looked very uncomfortable in a central defensive role prompting one fan to say “It’s no wonder ...

Biggleswade v Rushden and Diamonds

Given the decent results of both these sides at the weekend I thought this would be an intriguing game to take in. It turned out to be an exciting 100 mile an hour narrow win for the Waders, but there wasn’t much finesse on display and I’d be surprised if either of these were promotion contenders co...

Re: Stortford Away

Excellent response from Mark, Adam and the team to the naysayers (including those who were having “a bit of fun”).

Re: Hitchin v Haringey updates

Ah, the Beautiful Game - not much in evidence tonight. We were outfought and didn't deserve to go through. They won the midfield, with an especially strong performance by their number 8 Kay - I wish we had a player like him. Patience continues to be required. More evidence that the Isthmian League i...

Re: Biggleswade Town v Hitchin Town updates

While this was another frustrating watch it was an improvement on Banbury. In the end they defended better than we did and it won them the game. Patience will be a virtue for HTFC fans over the next few weeks I think. I'm hoping Burkey and Parks were away on an HTFC old boys reunion or something lik...

Re: Monday Night Football (Again)

Alternatively, the Donnellys and McCaffrey could have started on Monday alongside the fresh(er) legs of Charles and Goode. I'm still struggling to understand why they were on the bench.
