Re: Peter Russell
Hi Rupe, sorry only just seen this, I'm even later than Andi. I've missed your dad with his understated banter during the games. I still remember when he did his version of oooooooOOOO when the keeper was taking a goal kick & instead of " you're sh*t ahhhhh" he ended it with "watc...

Re: Cup Draw
We'll find out what we're up against just 4 days before when we visit Kettering in the league. Our record against them has not been good, even in the season when they were in a right mess & could only field 10 players at home to Banbury 1st game of the season, losing 9-0. By the time they came t...

Teams we are likely to face in the league next season
With the promotion & relegation now sorted we have a pretty good idea who will be joining us next season. Coming up from the Southern League div 1 central are Berko & Didcot. I assume this to be a given. However the 2 other teams coming up & the 2 teams coming down from the National Leag...

Re: Well Done Barton and Stotfold!
I see that Stotfold's play off was one of 2 involving the Northern Premier League div 1 Midland 2 teams who finished 3rd & 4th from bottom of the NPL playing 2 teams from the league below who just missed out on automatic promotion, Stotfold winning 2-0 at NPL's Dereham. The other play off saw th...

Top Field Crucible
Who needs a plastic pitch. Certainly not us. The Top Field pitch looked immaculate yesterday, almost as smooth as the tables at the Crucible & it was the last game of a busy season. Baring a very small patch in each goal mouth it could've been the 1st game of the season so huge congratulations t...

Re: Steven Graham
Oh yeah just read Admin's post, don't know how I missed it , & their bloke did miss with the 120th min penalty, dragging it wide of the post to Steve's right. If I now recall it was a good 2ft wide. You know when it's your night & it certainly was Steve's.

Re: Steven Graham
You are absolutely correct Darren, he did concede the penalty in the last minute at Saffron Walden & we all thought that's us out of the cup, but then a great save to take it to penalties where he was at it again. That was his night. Oddly enough I was only talking to Guy at the St Ives game on ...

Re: Alternative Report by Stour Grapes
A great spectacle for the neutral in the 2nd half. I thought their keeper was a bit of a pane all game constantly complaining to the ref who saw through him & gave him a frosted reception &, despite his gob-let the game flow. The Stourbridge defense was a jar when Daniel Idiekhoa weaved his ...
