Re: FRANK KING

This is absolutely dreadful news. When I first started going to HTFC Frank would always come and say hello and we would have a good chat. Loved buying my 50/50 tickets from him and seeing how he was doing. He was a thoroughly lovely man whose company I really enjoyed. My sincere condolences to Frank...

Re: Chris N

I too would like to add my two cents to congratulate and thank Chris on his hardwork for HTFC! It would be fair to say that the two of us didn't see eye to eye on every decision we were both involved in over the years, but I think that's what helped Chris bring out the best in all of us. Would alway...

Re: Play Off Final

Congratulations to Peterborough who eventually won 2-0. Guessing their MOTM may have been the keeper who saved two second half penalties. Second that. Congratulations to a team that has had the most phenomenal rise over the past decade up several leagues through the footballing pyramid to achieve N...

Re: Relegation and PPG

Thanks Rupe!! The Canaries are edging closer. Eight points from our final five will hopefully do the job. Huge point with ten men yesterday.

Re: Relegation and PPG

Of the nine teams on the list above who played last night, Biggleswade and Hitchin were the only two to win, whilst all the rest lost. They were: Wimborne, East Thurrock, Leatherhead, Grantham, Dorchester, Witton and Merstham. All in all a pretty good night for the Canaries  If this updat...

Re: Interview With Grant Biddle Chairman Of Peterborough Sports Saturday 12th March.

Absolutely spot on chris. Each to their own of course, but I personally see nothing to admire in their achievements. I don’t doubt they may even reach step two at some point (if their ground grading past - never been there so don’t really know). But I’d imagine that’s about their limit and we’ll see...

Re: Interview With Grant Biddle Chairman Of Peterborough Sports Saturday 12th March.

Had a discussion with this guy on Twitter recently. Apparently sports have the tenth biggest budget in the league (ha) and he didn’t see the value in youth or a reserves squad. Needless to say, I thought he was a complete tool. No long-term plan there - wait for the cash to dry up and tumble back do...

Huge praise to Burkey and everyone involved We’re still currently in the relegation zone. Southern League is still yet to update their league table standings - it’s bottom two and then...
