Callum is now at Stotfold as player/assistant coach with his (and Brett's) cousin Paul as manager!

Re: Next season ?

Gutted is an understatement after today’s result! I honestly can’t believe that Hitchin Town FC has come to this.. What I find most frustrating is that the fans never hear from the board about anything, we just seem to amble from season to season with the same stuck in our ways attitude. Our fans d...

Re: Steven Graham

Unfortunately found out this really sad news this afternoon. Steve and I played youth football together for many years and we always stayed in touch. Often saw his face around town and at games, where we’d always have a good chat about his beloved Newcastle. A lovely guy & gentle giant. RIP Steve.

Tobi Adeyemo

I didn't think i'd ever see a player play for both Hitchin and Watford, let alone in the space of a couple of weeks... but that's football!

Re: Bedford Town v Hitchin Town

It's fairly obvious with the calibre of player they can attract! You aren't signing players like George Thorne for less than a few hundred a week. They also employ FT members of staff for off-field operations etc, something very few clubs can offer at our level. They've been throwing money at the cl...

Re: Bedford Town v Hitchin Town

Hard to judge the game entirely as conceding after only a minute threw any possible game plan out of the window. Bedford are a strong, physical side (who also know how to perform the dark arts when needed - not always a bad thing for game management) and to put it bluntly, we got bullied by them for...

Re: FRANK KING

Awful news - I echo all the comments and tributes made by everyone above. Frank was such a lovely guy and a very welcoming presence inside the gate for fans with his smile and a bunch of 50/50 tickets in his hand. He'll be terribly missed at Top Field.

Sincere condolences to all close to him.
