Re: Winning ugly
I just read Pipeman's report. First of all I felt intellectually challenged as I didn't have a clue what dithyrambic meant. Secondly he referred to our kit as purple. Re: FA AMATEUR CUP 1928-1974
I was at both games. White City Stadium and Craven Cottage. We were very unlucky to lose on a disputed penalty against Walthamstow Avenue. In hindsight I think we were the best amateur team in England at the time. The game against Sutton was different and we lost to a much better side.

Re: Chesterfield at Top Field tonight
Do not judge people at their worst.I believe that Jackie's opinion in this instance should have been kept to herself. Also her reaction to the feedback was over the top. Nevertheless I find myself agreeing with many of her postings. She is passionate about HTFC and only wants success for the club.

Re: Dunstable Town v Shefford
Not meaning to be disrespectful to anyone but I could never have imagined a team from Shefford would progress at least two rounds further in the F.A. Cup than HTFC. Congratulations to everyone at Shefford.

Re: The Elephant In The Room
Insanity is defined as doing the same thing and expecting a different result. A quote from Einstein! Well, we have the same ownership, the same on field manager, the same CFO with the same budget philosophy and the same groundskeeper (thank goodness!) If Einstein"s theory works in football it me...

Re: Back or Sack
I picked up on the nevereverending references telling us how poor HTFC is compared to other clubs in our league. Who are these "rich" clubs? What is the evidence for these statements?

Re: Hitchin's Season in Stats
I would not be surprised to see similar stats for many of our recent seasons. It begs the question to why the manager can only field a decent team at the end of the campaign.
