Dunstable Town 0 Harpenden Town 1
No goals for Ezra Forde yesterday at Creasey Park. But in the Southern League 1 Central there was an amazingly prolific list of goals scored by former Canaries. Leading the way was Lucas Kirkpatrick with 4 goals. Harry Draper got a hat trick, Arnold Matshazi 2, Henry Snee 2, and one each for Alex Ma...

Re: Charles Worbey: The Link Man
Charles Worbey was born in Hitchin on 10th Feb 1879. He was a full-back on the right or left, and I've found a few Hitchin Town FC matc...

Charles Worbey: The Link Man
A player for Hitchin and Hertfordshire in Edwardian times, and a committee man in the 1928 revival. I'll add further details of this important figure in Club history if anyone is interested.

Leonard Stokes Hart: Chairman
By the time we celebrate the centenary of the Hitchin Town Football Club in 2028, perhaps Mr Leonard Stokes Hart, the Club's first chairman could be considered for adding to our Hall of Fame? Born 7th October 1881 in Tillingham, Essex, Len arrived in Hitchin as an elementary school teacher, marrying...
