Re: FA Cup 1871/1872

Wow....this is fantastic stuff Anthony. Yes I'm very interested too and really appreciate you taking the time to look into this in such depth. As you may well be aware, we will be hoping to celebrate the competition in some form next season. Keep it coming!

Re: Hitchin Town v Peterborough Sports (Interview with Grant Biddle Chairman of Sports) FA Trophy

Well it ran fine for me.....nice interview!

One of those games today. We didn't play badly at all, but our opponents were too strong and showed why they must be one of the title favourites. They would hold their own at Step 2 I'm sure.

Re: Heaven Sent

Thanks for publishing Rupe - I don't get the Comet as I , like a few others, am one of the "Bedfordshire Canaries". I remember Nick - I sold him that scarf! His brother Ricky (now known as Rick) used to help a lot at one time, and he still attends games from time to time. Their dad Mick us...

Re: Players I miss Watching

For years my favourite player was Steve Conroy - a real goal poacher. Until we saw the enigma/legend that is Matt Lench. Technically the soundest player I have seen playing for Hitchin in the 30 years I have followed them. Nearly scored the greatest goal ever for Hitchin at Bedworth when he caught a...

We must still check temperatures and collect Track and Trace information, and will still need everyone to sanitise hands. ...

Re: Prediction - ROYSTON

Can I please advise that it is CHARLES Horlock's Foot Tappers, not Charlie! If I am going to win this League we must get his name right or my submission might be declared null and void and I would be robbed, yer honour!!  :happy2: I'll retract my request Guv! Spoke with Charles today or ...
