Re: History Today

8th April 1970 League Division 3 Fulham 0 Luton 1 (Malcolm Macdonald) The return ticket to London on the railway was eight shillings (40p). We were chased by irate Cottagers all the way back to Kings Cross. Objects tossed our way included fire extinguishers, but luckily we arrived back home unscath...

Is there any kind of gofundme, where we can just donate money to help?
There will be very shortly, along with some other things to try to raise some valuable income, as soon as we know the outcome of this season. Watch this space and our other Social Media outlets for future announcements.

Re: Hitchin Town v Coronavirus

For season ticket holders (those who can) , would payment of a deposit (or the full amount) towards next season's matches, if they happen, help? Re: Hitchin Town v Coronavirus

Thanks for the suggestion Pete. We are in the process of considering some desperately needed income initiatives to go online. Roy doesn't issue free passes.....far too labour intensive, all done online now, this is 2020 mate! But seriously, once we know for sure that the season has ended, we will be...

Re: All games off for the next 2 weeks at least

Include the Northern League as they agreed to carry on playing! For sake of correctness, the Northern League (Steps 5 and 6) have cancelled their League programme until 4th April. It's the Northern Premier League (Steps 3 and 4) that decided not to suspend their League programme. Likewise the Natio...

I wonder if the HCC had more spectators in those days. Sounds like a cracker!
Don't have an attendance for this game in my records. But the first round against Letchworth at Top Field pulled in a crowd of 365. So think the answer is yes......
