Re: Don't Buy The Scarves Though

Thinking of a Christmas present for someone? Well there's plenty of items in the Hitchin Town Supporters Club Shop.Don't know if it would be possible to open it up for a few hours under current guide lines, on a Saturday morning, just a thought, that's all. Meanwhile, don't buy the scarves, bought ...

Wow....this is fantastic stuff Anthony. Yes I'm very interested too and really appreciate you taking the time to look into this in such depth. As you may well be aware, we will be hoping to celebrate the competition in some form next season. Keep it coming!

Thanks for publishing Rupe - I don't get the Comet as I , like a few others, am one of the "Bedfordshire Canaries". I remember Nick - I sold him that scarf! His brother Ricky (now known as Rick) used to help a lot at one time, and he still attends games from time to time. Their dad Mick us...

Re: Supporters Club

Very nicely put Brian. A lot of people have put a lot of effort in over the years, and it's now taken us to a place where a culture of positivity, support and moving forward is starting to prevail. If there are issues to resolve, I'm sure all true Hitchin fans are of the mind that we would want to d...

Re: Supporters Club

Yes, I think the members deserved something better than a footnote - all those years of paying membership fees. The fans do not have any representation now.. I agree with you Neil.......but all of you as paid members need to remember that the Supporters Club was set up as being independent of the C...

The Miracle Of Castel Di Sangro is my favourite football book of all time. Have read it three times and will probably read it again.

Re: South Eastern League 1901-8 & others

Just seconding Chris' comments here Anthony. A wonderful collection of results. It would be great to expand upon the Hitchin FC section in the history on the Club website, so if you happen to have a spreadsheet of all Hitchin FC fixtures/results, that would be great to include. Alternatively Chris,...
