I agree Rupert, can’t see how it could possibly be completed and for me going through the summer playing is a crazy idea, ok if you have a artificial pitch but not with a natural grass one ! You can’t refurbish a grass pitch between October and March/ April as grass seed won’t germinate when ground ...

Be good to see the warm up tee shirts that the players wear and also the track suit tops.
Perhaps waterproof tops and all with the club badge on.

Keith, a certain Andy Melvin lives in a house he had built where the Bedford Line ran through Ickleford next to where the bridge was and had the railway bank removed where his garden is now!
In fact the chalk from it is under the concrete terracing that was built at the Bedford end of Too Fiekd!

Heartbeat for the loverly Yorkshire setting and the 60’s music, have visited Goathland ( Adensfield) many times including trips on the North York’s steam railway.
