Re: Lifting Of Social/Crowd Restrictions from 19th July.
FWIW I agree and from 19 July, until whenever the Lambda Lockdown starts as a result of this government's negligence, I will be picking carefully what grounds and matches (and pubs and supermarkets etc) I go to. From experience over recent months, in a crowd of 600-700 there is usually room to sprea...

Re: Well done Brentford
10th time lucky and all that! Well done to the Bees fans who did keep the faith - the 7th failure (against a rubbish Yeovil side) coupled with 3 Mickey Mouse Cup Final defeats was too much for me. As Brentford beat 4 Premier League sides in the League Cup this season, lets hope that bodes well for n...

Re: Luke Brown leaves
St Albans' first PSF is at Arlesey on 10 July which sadly clashes with the Stevenage friendly.

Re: Champion Hill Dulwich
My last memory of the old main stand - post Taylor report and prior to the first exodus to Bromley and Tooting - was the number of wasp nests that had appeared as the woodwork rotted away! Has that ever been a problem in the wooden structures at Top Field?

Re: Restart date
Won't argue with 4 & 5 - voting shares and bonds, I take it? 1 & 2 - depends on whether clubs can survive til August in mothballs or whether something like friendlies needed to cover fixed costs. But it depends when fans and clubhouses can open. August gives contingency in case any delays in...

Re: Restart date
I read it as either 29 March or 12 April at the earliest but its not clear yet. By that point, I assume the Step 3-6 seasons will be null and void so friendly mini-tournaments may well be the way forward. But there will still be many people who have not had one or both vaccinations so let's be reali...

Ex Canary watch, part 81
On a generally rubbish day for Brentford, their B team managed to lose 3-4 to a Stevenage Academy side. One of the scorers for Stevenage was Harry Draper - he was let go by Boro last summer and was on the subs bench for Knebworth before Christmas, but Boro have obviously changed their minds. (There ...

Re: FURTHER SUSPENSION OF THE LEAGUE SEASON
Welcome to Tier 4. However cynical one might be about the reasons for the double escalation in this region, my experience of matches so far suggests not everything is sweetness, light and safety. David et al did sterling work to get the Covid plan in place and to ensure volunteers wore masks or viso...
