Situation reversed yesterday. Hemel have a plastic pitch now.

I think he went to Hemel after he left Luton so has played National South Step 2
Also at Oxford City in NLS. Didn't look out of place.

Change of manager before Christmas at W&F seems to have heralded a lot of changes of personnel.

Re: Tamworth / I wonder who wrote this !!!

I see Tamworth - famous for their fuel shortage clickbaiting on Twitter - are clickbaiting on Facebook about our ticketing arrangements. I presume we send the routine ticketing info to every club. But only Tamworth post it where they know it will set off the minority. Perhaps its to cover the afterm...

Re: Women at the Game

Have to agree with Chris N on this. The thread was to raise awareness of Women At The Game and get ideas on how to improve the match day experience for women attending home games. Please can we keep this on topic. I'm sure the club will be well aware that last nights game was abandoned. Discussions...

Re: Interview With Grant Biddle Chairman Of Peterborough Sports Saturday 12th March.

This is the basic flaw of non-league football. As it stands, many clubs cannot afford wages unless they are propped up. Many have a wage-to-income ratio that goes beyond 100% of income. There is no control over wages and most financial accounts are not transparent because the clubs opt for the bare...

Re: Interview With Grant Biddle Chairman Of Peterborough Sports Saturday 12th March.

Personally I don't 'want them to fail'.. but neither do I want them to succeed particularly just on the whim of one businessman with a few quid to spare (who seemingly has now lost interest). They don't have a fanbase, or any investment in youth teams which to me makes them a vanity project not a c...

Re: AFC Dunstable 1 Thame United 2

Stevenage 1 Gillingham 0 You made a better choice than me, Anthony! First visit to Broadhall Way for about 10 years. Nothing much has changed about the ground except the new North Stand - and based on yesterday's game vs Gillingham, if the standard of football has changed, it has got worse! Both si...

Re: Interview With Grant Biddle Chairman Of Peterborough Sports Saturday 12th March.

Sports have also been operating under a transfer embargo since November after falling behind with their VAT payments. They have reduced the debt owed to £5k from £45k, but they need to clear it completely before the embargo is lifted. Should anyone be surprised? Playing with fire if you don't make ...

Beat me to it, Brian!
Fishponder’s stats are a treasure trove. Not just for the Hitchin data but also to set you wondering who some of these clubs were. There’s some programme articles waiting to be written there!

Re: Weekly Bulletin

Well done for producing the Bulletin each week. Though Mark is wrong here - haven’t been trains on Boxing Day for decades so nothing to do with the rail strike! “ The late loss of Steve Cawley was a huge blow and Toby Adeyemo had been due to be involved but because of the train drivers strike was un...
