Re: How far does your loyalty stretch?
Who said anything about tantrums, Russell? Measured and objective criticism - nothing wrong with that.

Re: How far does your loyalty stretch?
Loyalty has two strands in my view: firstly, the loyal fan who wants success and is prepared to question things and hold their club to task and secondly, the fan who, regardless of circumstances, accepts and trusts the process. Both types of loyal fan are equally staunch, but the fan that accepts ev...

Re: FA Cup Draw
Absolutely, Heybridge were far better, stronger and more competitive. They didn't look like a Step 4 side at all. The ideal mix is youth and experience... Heybridge had just that, Hitchin didn't. But for the keeper, the scoreline would have been doubled, he had an outstanding game. There's always ne...

Re: FA Cup Draw
Not using cash is very convenient in my view, I am very comfortable with that, especially when travelling anywhere. I do understand why some people don't like it and do feel there should be flexibility built in to the model to allow last minute decisions. This has been in place for a while and it cl...

Re: Hitchin v Rushall Olympic/Extreme Heat
The past is no measure of the future. Yes we tolerated heat and suffered. I remember the summer of 1976 and seeing women fainting on the tube, people suffering from sun stroke. We have moved on, we understand the effect of excessive heat and this is no ordinary summer, as the past three years haven’...

Re: Hitchin v Rushall Olympic/Extreme Heat
I don’t think playing in such heat really benefits anyone. The players, the fans, the spectacle. The game was so poor because of the heat, everyone looked frazzled and it was a relief when it ended. Why the league had to start so early is a mystery… I dont think any Hitchin players will be on intern...

Re: Hitchin v Rushall Olympic/Extreme Heat
Games called off in Europe today. Things to come. FA will be advised in future to start season later as this is clearly a regular thing. Water for the crowd excellent idea.
