I remember the game.....it was about my third home game ever. Last game of the season. Woking were up for promotion and we were just short of it. Think we lost 3-1. Quite a sizeable crowd as I remember.

Fact you might not know: Brian Smith, who Roy mentioned in last week's bulletin as having recently passed away, scored the Hitchin goal in the aforementioned game.....

Agree with that....nice people and very easy going. They've done well.

Russell: Leagues wanted to do everything they could to avoid no promotion/relegation again, hence the proposals to come up with something that might still enable this.
