Re: Callum Stead
I see Trey Charles has just signed for Stamford. One of our new opponents. Blimey he's had almost as many clubs as Jefferson Louis   That said, he was top scorer at St.Neots last season with 20+ goals and their player of the season. 20+ goals for a relegated team? Hope we took a look! Dou...

Re: iPhones
Just to add to what Kate has said, we're asking first because two of our phones used for scanning at the turnstiles really are on their last legs. One can't accept new software which is now becoming an issue, the other is just like me.....old! And we will have to buy two new phones before the ...

Re: Luton Town
Whatever their status over the next two seasons, there is an opportunity to become a little more sound financially if they don't bust themselves with player wages. Even if they do get relegated straight back down, they'll have the Premier League parachute payment for the next season. If they stay up...

Re: Am I an optimist
I don't like optimism. Makes me feel insecure. Much prefer the old adage of expect nothing, then you won't be disappointed. Much better going to games expecting nothing and then getting something. Hope is a killer. All that said, I have to admit that the secured signings so far point towards getting...

Re: Our Home Grown Match Reporters
Would be great if all of this information could be compiled in one place and made accessible/archived for everyone to access. Unfortunately, it needs time to do this. All Neil's (and Sascha's and some other person's) reports were on the old website - going back to approx 2005. Were they saved somew...

Re: Teams we are likely to face in the league next season
I'm pleased we have kept Mickleover out of the three we got from the NPL last season. Stamford is a nice surprise - great town and decent pubs. Train journey beckons for that one. Only two new grounds for me - Long Eaton and AFC Telford.

Re: Our Home Grown Match Reporters
I couldn't separate any of them all have there own way with words. All excellent. Pipeman very unique which I like. I believe Barry Swain used to do some reports? He was also very good with words. We have been very lucky with match reporters last 30 years or so. I have almost all of the newspaper r...
