Re: Best Album Track

I must admit I only started this thread to push virus discussion off the top of the list of topics. But ANYTHING to take our minds away from that contentious subject is fine by me, and music certainly helps.   My contribution would be the live recording of "Midnight Rambler&...

Re: Ransom's Field

Fascinating stuff Anthony as always. I absolutely love those "then & Now" type of photographic history books and would love to be able to visit the exact locations and compare the "now" against photos of "then" were any in existence. Sadly, how quickly time buries t...

Re: British Football's Greatest Grounds

A lot of grounds are notable for their location rather than the construct. The list was compiled by votes, which explains why so many non league grounds are included. I doubt most people have never heard of some of the grounds. But ignore the rankings, it is a stunning book. I haven’t stopped looki...

Re: Supporters Club

Was news to me as well Neil, I saw the mention of it in Roy's bulletin "61000 reasons to be proud" "Our Supporters Club has now closed down and Len Leroux and his committee members donated their closing funds of over £3,000 to the Crowdfunder appeal" Must admit it didn't properly...

Re: Hitchin F.C: An Auspicious Beginning

Thanks so much for doing all this Anthony, it is all brilliant stuff. Fred at 93 is not very mobile and certainly missing H.T.F.C. He is currently quite frail and obviously house bound so I am printing various items from the main website, not least your items on the forum such as this thread and all...
