A fine display at North Herts Museum in Brand Street of the life and works of Dick Walker (who was born in Fishponds Road).
The 'Ranji' Adams (Hitchin FC Hall of Famer) display is also still on show there and is well worth a visit.

Re: Daniel idiakhoa
Both Daniel and Arnold scored for AFC yesterday. Anyone needing a footie fix when they can't get to a Hitchin match would find a visit to Creasey Park a good choice. Goals there are scored at both ends.......................... Such a shame that Daniel will be remembered by the fans for letting the ...

Re: Hitchin performances
Successive flat team performances, Snooker Loopy (yuk!) on the tannoy, our web site history still showing the howler that Francis Shillitoe lived at Foxholes. We are now attending matches expecting the team to be gallant losers. We want to see gallant possible winners; a squad capable of picking up ...

Harry Raybould (Waders Reserves)
A query on our social media showing a picture of Biggleswade Town's team of about 1951 surprised me, as perhaps the only HTFC connections in the picture were of our ex trainer George Oldham, and Canary's legend Ken Lawrence. Whatever, the query related to Wader's reserve player Harry Raybould, whose...

Top Field 150?
On 15th November 1873 the Hertford Mercury reported that Hitchin FC drew 0-0 with Cambridge on Saturday 8th November 1873 'in the field opposite Mr W.Lucas's, on the Bedford Road'. Was this the first match played at Top Field by Hitchin FC?
