Re: Top Field Crucible
Who needs a plastic pitch. Certainly not us. The Top Field pitch looked immaculate yesterday, almost as smooth as the tables at the Crucible & it was the last game of a busy season. Baring a very small patch in each goal mouth it could've been the 1st game of the season so huge congratulations ...

Re: COACH TO RUSHALL.. COVID ALERT
That's odd, I thought this site banned politics. DFPUK seem keen to feature Senator Ron Johnson - well known vaccine denier, climate change denier, abortion opponent, gun advocate, democracy opponent and Jan 6 insurrection supporter. Not taking any lessons from him or his UK acolytes about anything...

Re: FRANK KING
Sad news indeed, other than at the games, I used to bump into Frank regularly in Sainsburys Letchworth and spend time discussing the teams fortunes or otherwise. Last time was only a few weeks ago.
He will be truly missed. Another of the stalwarts no longer with us. A truly lovely guy. RIP Frank.

Re: In The Days of 7 Forwards
A Heavy Charge In this game occurred the heaviest charge I have seen when A.M.Walters (12st 9lbs) and F.E.Dewhurst (13st 2lbs) starting about 40 yards apart, made for the ball lying about half-way between them. They met shoulder to shoulder with a crash audible all over the ground, and Dewhurst went...

Re: Chris N
 Belated thanks from me also Chris, When Fred and I started "seriously" supporting HTFC earlier this century and went to the first meetings, you were always very welcoming and helpful and have remained so to this day. I am pleased that your going to relax a bit more and do some garde...
