Prediction League 2019-20

Post by steve.max » Wed Apr 24, 2019 8:40 am

Did you know that the Prediction league will celebrate its 10th birthday during the 2019-20 season.

To celebrate this event there is going to be an additional £50 prize towards the beginning of the season.

All you have to do is create an alternative "name" for your entry. Something funny / risque (but not rude or offensive) - eg. Marsha Mellow, Arthur Fox Sake.

Each entry will still be £10 (no inflation involved) - why not have a second (or third) go and have some fun at the same time.

The fixture list for 2019-20 season is now available and so here is the Prediction Game entry form.

Remember there is an extra entry line (not optional) for a funny/risque/novelty name which has a £50 prize for the best entry.

All completed forms and the £10 entry fee must be with me by 3pm on 10th August.

For those that need to contact me and have have not done so before please use the following e-mail address - steve.maxted@hitchintownfc.club

Thought I would take a minute to remind you to complete your prediction league forms.

Saturday`s home game against Arsenal is the only home game we have before the league kick off. What a good opportunity for you to hand in your completed entry forms.

I will be their ready to collect the entry forms or hand out entry forms if so required by anyone.

I will still be on hand to collect forms at the opening game against Stourbridge.

I don’t know about anyone else but I am finding it hugely difficult to complete my predictions – I simply have no idea how we are going to perform this season……as ever I will err on the side of optimism!

Someone a few years ago said they had no idea predicting the scores and low and behold they won, which just goes to show that you don`t need to sit and ponder over a load of data for this game.

Thanks to those you have entered which means at present we have 30 entries or which 27 have entered a novelty name.
