The fixtures are out the so now is the next best thing - The prediction entry form.

Once again the Prediction Game is being run on behalf of the Hitchin Executive Club.
Entry is still a magical price of £10.

Last year £50 was donated for the funniest name and this year we have another £50 donation for the best use of the initials HTFC in any orfer.
Hitchin, Town, Football and Club can NOT be used.
This is optional and free to enter so why not have a go.

Joining in the fun, for this year only the Prediction Game will be called "The Hopeless Forecasters Competition".- THFC

I will be at the opening game of the season but unlikely to be able to take your entry forms / money. The good news is that my good lady wife will be at the game willing to take your forms / money. It is hoped that she will be situated behind the Fishponds Rd covered terracing. If you are not sure just ask.

As usual I will accept entry forms via e-mail steve.maxted@ntlworld.com with payment on the day.

Just to jog your memories that prediction entry forms must be with me by 3pm kick off this saturday.

I will be at the ground but would you please give forms and money to the good lady wife who should be situated behind the Fishponds Rd terracing. You can always ask me for directions in case we have to move her elsewhere.

Thanks you to those that have already entered, the names you have come up with are amusing.

Looking at the prediction form I see that we play Rushall twice in the last eight games of the season, which is a bit odd. Although far less odd than the horlicks of a fixture list we had a few years ago when we were playing lots of teams twice before Christmas and starting off with loads of away fixtures!

With the Prediction League looking highly likely never to be completed,and most participants are loyal Hitchin fans, can I make a suggestion that we donate the entry fee money towards the building of the new Fishponds Road Stand.Just a thought that's all.
