Football Weekends - Hitchin Town article
In this month's Football Weekends, there is a full colour feature on Hitchin Town by Rob Pritchard. Big photos of the Friar, Rupert, and the press box.

Was aware this was on the way but didn't expect it so soon....the photographer only came to take photos at the Mickleover game.
I subscribe to this magazine every month - a proper football magazine which leaves me really envious about wishing I could do some groundhopping abroad. A great read.

Top Field 1871?
Quarter final? When the 2nd ties were played, there were still 9 teams competing (Queen's Park having a bye). A generation of young supporters has believed the club battled through several rounds to reach a 'quarter final' that wasn't; since some wag first labelled it as such in the 1980s??? Adding 'without winning a match' is an improvement, but does not give the full explanation.
