Congratulations to Sutton United, our one-time Isthmian League opponents, on achieving Football League status, and also to Hornchurch, who we used to meet in our Athenian League days, on winning the FA Trophy.

I see Sutton have to dig their 3G pitch up as they are not permitted in the EFA.
That will be a big loss to all the local groups that use it and a massive loss of income!

I gather Sutton have new investment to cover the costs. Most clubs with artificial pitches have cash set aside for a deteriorating asset. Short sighted not to.
