Prediction - STOURBRIDGE.

Post by steve.max »

Early on both teams showed why they are near the bottom of the league as they struggled with the conditions. Gradually as the game went on we again became second best and apart from one goal line clearance we never really looked like scoring. I feel the score could have been worse. This is becoming a season of men versus boys and relegation is a great possibility. On a brighter note Lowestoft and Nuneaton keep losing. Although the lads give 100% possibly some are out of their depth having come from lower leagues. As a famous manager once said - If you can`t score goals you can`t win.

No winners today but a couple of 3-0 predictions albeit a home win.

From the moment I discovered pre-match that Stourbridge's last win was in September 2020 against us, the writing was on the wall - that's just the way football works! They won today and fully deserved it. Hitchin has a group of decent young players, but it's hard to see success coming without some more experienced players being brought in to the team to guide these youngsters.
