This Saturday we welcome Biggleswade Town to Top Field. We are supporting the superb initiative Football V Homophobia which is challenging discrimination based on sexual orientation and expression. This is an international initiative and they are reaching out to all levels of football down to grassroots level. Read up about them here https://www.footballvhomophobia.com/our-story/

We will have a few rainbow laces on sale in our Club Shop on Saturday alongside our wonderful Rainbow Canary Badge. Show your support on the day in standing up against all forms of homophobia by wearing your laces or badges.

Top Field has always welcomed everyone, help us make a difference.

Thanks. We do our best!! Funny, there was a misconception on Social Media as to why we were supporting F v H. Along the lines of: "We don't have any problems of this sort at Hitchin".

So just to clarify: We never said we did and that is absolutely NOT the reason why we hold support and themed days like this. It is to encourage and spread the message that the Club wishes to promote and ensure that the support is as diverse and inclusive as it can be and open to all.

It is a proactive action, not one of defence.

Incidentally, rainbow laces and canaries will be on sale in the Club Shop for the foreseeable future while stocks last. And there will be more themed days to come to encourage support from various groups in our community and society.
