After last weeks first half performance this was a very different matter where the team played really well with plenty of energy that had Banbury on the ropes on occasions and were very unlucky not to score. Banbury did what champion teams can do - soak up the pressure and then strike to win games. Well done to the our lads who deserved better today, so let`s have this performance again on monday and next saturday with hopefully a bit more luck in front of goal.

Think you would have been hard pushed to find anyone at the start of the season who would name Banbury as the league winners let alone the way they have done it.

I thought Peterborough Sports would walk it myself.
