It would seem likely that next season will not witness a certain programme editor being relieved of duties (me). I am still hoping, but it looks increasingly remote.

What I would really like is a new willing volunteer to assist with the process when I am on holiday fatigues and the like?

In addition I would like this person to liaise with both the Ladies and Youth sections so as to include a regular page about them both.

As regards qualifications all I ask is a modicum of literacy, a sense of humour and a large dollop of patience - you will need it.

Separately - anybody else out there who likes stats? I am not much into them but others are? Any ideas?

I shall look forward to the flood of applications.

I hope someone comes forward for this, there are a good few supporters who have all those qualifications.
