A huge thank you to Roy and contributors, including Burkey, for another year of weekly updates. It’s always a nice combination of latest news, interesting stats and (during the season) reflection on recent fixtures and build up to the next week’s matches. Always a good start to the weekend.

Though Mark is wrong here - haven’t been trains on Boxing Day for decades so nothing to do with the rail strike!
“ The late loss of Steve Cawley was a huge blow and Toby Adeyemo had been due to be involved but because of the train drivers strike was unable to get to Hitchin with no trains running.”
Toby would’ve been waiting a long time anyway.
