This game could have been two nil to either side, obviously wasn't as Hitchin were unlucky with their chances especially in the first twenty minutes, and Bedford way off target with theirs.Approaching half time,Bedford were getting more into the game.
The second half was different, it was back to the wall job,with Bedford pulling up to the half way line and quickly shutting us down, not allowing us to play our passing game, not giving us time to think,and hacking the ball out to anywhere, for it to come back.Not that we were playing badly, as we still had our moments,but they were really up for it,but the defence stood firm, with an outstanding display by Ciaren Jones.
Then in the fourth minute of injury time, a corner to Bedford( am thinking, I don't need this) but it came to nothing, and overhaul a draw was a fair result, and with 40pts on the board, things are looking good.
