My sister and I flew in on a cold breeze, and settled nicely on the perimeter fence,it was great to mingle with our country cousins from Suffolk, although we soon realised it was more of a midland squawk when startled.
As for the match itself, you couldn't fault the boys for effort, but oh my,it was like watching a game of chess,in a room with no central heating,in a ghost town.I struggled to keep alert, and could easily have fallen off my perch. The only highlight of the first half was a great strike by Finlay, and the regular occurrence of letting in sloppy goals just before half time.
Instead of imposing our style of play on them, we tried to match theirs to no avail, running into brick walls all the second half. Am afraid, that is my final report of the match,as I am falling asleep writing this by reminiscing the match zzzzzz
