Prediction - TAMWORTH

Post by steve.max »

This was always going to be a tough game against the league leaders but I thought it was very even for the first half until we went a goal down. The second half was flat as we never worried the goalkeeper. Tamworth reminded me of the boring Arsenal team of years ago who seemed to win 1-0 every match. Can`t fault the effort of the Hitchin lads as Tamworth were the stronger and better team, mainly second half, who knew what was required to win.

Congratulations to the prediction winners : Roger Berry, Marek Malarowski, Paul Sprague, Mick Docking, Andy Denniss, Rochester Roger and for the second time in a row Bill Dawson

Yes we never really troubled there goalkeeper. I did however think they were quite a good side but just good defending by our young defenders kept the score down. The rest of the team battled as well so no complaints from me and for a change I got the result right

"Top of the league, you're having a laugh".
For me it was a disappointing game. I expected better from the leaders.
And, reluctantly I think Nuneaton played better against us,so I'll be interested in seeing who wins the Tamworth/Nuneaton rematch (fight ;) ).

Still NO news on the Tamworth/Nuneaton rematch.
If both teams fail to complete the season by the last match date, 22nd April,
Maybe they should both be excluded from the playoffs.
After all, WGC were excluded for not having the required number of seats :thud:
