With Kings Langley losing to Ilkeston last night, thereby leaving them with 5 games to play, I can finally sleep easily in my bed. They would need to win 3 and draw 1 of their remaining games to go above our existing points tally and that surely is not going to happen?
St Ives in the meantime look to have a really difficult run in that is likely to garner few if any points, so it's really a toss up between those two clubs.
Am I suddenly turning into an optimistic - now that would be a concern.

I said 48 points right from the start and I'm sticking to it. Not safe until we're safe.
Re: Safe - never in doubt
It is incredible how much hard work it takes just to avoid relegation.
Re: Safe - never in doubt
I originally thought Chris was being overly pessimistic (I thought 45 was enough) but am coming round to his way of thinking. KL’s last two matches are against teams that are already relegated (or I suspect will have been when they take place). They are also playing us and our record against teams in the bottom 4 is not great. So it is not fanciful to see them winning those 3 which alone would put them on 47 points plus whatever they get against Nuneaton & Stourbridge.
