A few weeks ago we sat comfortably in tenth place on 44 points. I insisted to anyone who would listen to me that we were not safe and needed at least 48 points.

Nah - pessimist, behave, you've been supporting Fulham too long - all the comments came....

Looking at the table this morning, after Kings Langley were mathematically relegated yesterday, how many points did the team now sitting fifth from bottom need for actual survival? 48 points.

Had we still been on 44 points now, and then we lose to Kings Langley on Tuesday night.....with us playing Ilkeston next Saturday and Kings Langley playing Hednesford, we'd have been crapping ourselves. Just saying....

P.S. Fulham aren't mathematically safe yet either

Since the most KL can get is 45 points (and hopefully we will stop them getting there , not to mention a resurgent Rushden team who ironically have been going great guns since their relegation was announced ) I am feeling more confident in my prediction that 45 would have been enough
