So this is obliquely related to the club but I was at a book launch do for the new book by journalist turned musician (in the group St Etienne) turned writer & occasional film maker, Bob Stanley . I have always been curious about the fact that he follows the club on Twitter and speaking to him later he waxed lyrical about what a great ground Top Field is and he was obviously aware of recent improvements. Any chance we could get some St Etienne played on the tannoy before the next match. "Join Our Club" might be appropriate

I think he followed Hendon when I think they were in the same league as Hitchin? Theres some great footage of the old Hendon ground on the St Etienne film Finisterre, and the album opens with some field recordings from Claremont Road.

Yes Mike saw him and also chatted! I caught a glimpse of him but he looked like he was in a hurry with his family so I thought I wouldn't detain him further
