Jack Leslie Hoar (b 26 Dec 1912 d abt Jan 1995)
Scoring on his Spartan League debut at Top Field on 29th August 1936, Jack Hoar, a left-winger, averaged .77 goals per game over his career.
Born in Luton, his first club was Biscot Sports. Scoring 122 goals in 158 appearances his goals per game average outshone his regular inside-forward team-mates Ray Albone (96/65/0.68), Les Clarke (368/159/0.43) and Spud Murphy (165,79/0.48).
He played his final game for the Canaries on 19th May 1945, in a Herts Charity Cup final defeat by Barnet.
