Cyril John Walker played for Hitchin between 1931 and 1935, before signing professional forms for Watford FC.
Known as 'C.J.' or 'Bandy' Walker he was born in Pirton, Hertfordshire on 24th February 1914 (certainly not Newport Pagnell, as shown on some sites).
