After a slow start by , due mainly to Nuneatons early pressure we settled into our passing game resulting in a fairly even first half with both teams missing some chances. The second half was something else with two beautiful strikes and a penalty, the latter surprising many behind the goal, which must have been just inside the box. Nuneaton still looked strong going forward but were well held by the Hitchin defence for a clean sheet. What a boost for all the players and let`s have more goals like tonight.
The only winners tonight were the team. Well done lads and hard luck prediction players.
