Resignation from the league sadly confirmed.

Always so sad when this happens at our level, lets hope that they (...the loyal servants and supporters) can salvage something to rebuild with.
Re: Nuneaton
On a statistical note, the only clubs to suffer more than us from this will be Sudbury and St Ives, who have both beaten Nuneaton twice. The full list is:
Sudbury and St Ives will lose 6 points,
Telford and us lose 4 points.
Mickleover, Barwell, Leiston, Berko lose 3 points.
Leamington and Stamford lose 1 point.
Needham, Redditch, Stratford, Halesowen, Royston, Coalville, Bromsgrove, Alvechurch, Kettering, Long Eaton all lose nothing from the one game they played against Nuneaton.
I think all that will drop us down to 12th.
Stan, Fin (2), Dan I and Dan E will all lose the goals they scored against Nuneaton, meaning Dan E is looking for his first goal for us again! With his goal being expunged it also means that the last person to score a competitive goal for us when wearing the Number 5 shirt is.........Dan Webb!
PS All these stats are subject to someone else checking and finding I'm wrong!

Re: Nuneaton
Twitter awash with support for Nuneaton from many clubs and individuals and whilst it's terribly sad for supporters and volunteers, all the people commenting on the money sloshing round at top levels of the game that doesn't filter down to grass roots football seem to ignore the fact that Nuneaton were hugely in debt and yet still went out and signed Leroy Lita, who I'm sure wasn't playing for nothing (apologies in advance to all concerned if he was).
If you are in so much debt, surely you cut back, field a youthful team and accept you might drop down a division or two, but at least try and right the ship financially as the main priority?

Re: Nuneaton
Very sad news.
I suppose the only blessing is that one less team will get relegated.

Re: Nuneaton
It means we've lost all five games since Christmas and we need a result at Alvechurch who've only won once in their last twelve games.
Re: Nuneaton
Not the first time, I think?
