An entertaining first half with plenty of chances to both teams in which Hitchin took a lead going into half time. Stratford having started the second half sharper and quicker were soon in the lead. A spirited fight back by Hitchin was undone by some poor defending, especially immediately after we had drawn level at 2-2 and thus Stratford finally run out winners. Although Hitchin lost this was a better performance seen at Top Field for some time.
Unsurprisingly there were no winners of the prediction game.

Agree that it was a better performance than recent home games (although would have definitely settled for a poor performance and a win)
