That Losing Habit

Post by anthony.brown »

An unprecedented sequence of defeats means we no longer have any chance of reaching the play-offs, and opposing teams are chomping at the bit in their eagerness to add to our woes. There is a real chance of relegation unless the squad pull up their socks and battle to the magic 48 points.
Even in our relegation season of 1997-8 we never lost more than three on the trot. With Nuneaton's results expunged our sequence of consecutive league defeats has risen to 9, an historic record?

Tomorrow is the last chance to avoid an unwelcome run of going four complete calendar months without a home league win too.

Let's be positive - come on lads, you can do it!

I am finding it extremely difficult to be positive, sorry.
Performances are disjointed and flat.

In 1950/51 we lost 24 of 30 matches, with a longest run of consecutive League defeats being 13. Our present team have a great chance to avoid matching that record run?
